FNU Noviyanti and Joaquin Baruch completed their STEC CAP internships this Fall 2017. Novi and Joaquin worked on a project entitled “Prevalence and concentration of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC)-7 in cull dairy cattle processed in commercial slaughter plants.
Culmination of Veterinary Research Scholar Program 2017
Danielle Pickering presented her poster entitled “Association between administration of direct fed microbials with E. coli O157 shedding in feedlot cattle” at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Kansas State University on 8/1/2017 and at the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium, National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, on 8/3/2017, upon culmination of her Veterinary Research Scholars Program 2017.
